The budget Honor Holly 2 Plus is going to make its debut in India next week. The phone will go on sale on Amazon India and Flipkart at 12:00AM February 15, with a retail price of ₹8,499 ($125).
There isn't a dearth of budget Android handsets in India, but Honor is looking to differentiate itself by offering a 4000mAh battery and a gamut of connectivity options, which include GSM (LTE) as well as CDMA. You get decent specs too, with the Holly 2 Plus featuring a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD display, quad-core MT6735P clocked at 1.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD slot, 13MP camera at the back, 5MP front shooter, and EMUI 3.1 atop Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Huawei does mention that the phone will make the switch to the Marshmallow-based EMUI 4.0 shortly after launch. If you're looking for a phone with a bit more grunt, the Honor 5X is on sale in the country for ₹12,999.
