BlackBerry has offered some additional information about the steps it took in making sure that the Priv by BlackBerry was secure, even while running Android. For years, BlackBerry has been known for security, its operating system was built around it. With the switch to Android on the Priv, some were left concerned about how BlackBerry planned to stay true to its roots in making sure that the upcoming smartphone was as secure as the rest.

Google Maps will soon let you add multiple destinations to your route
Google has announced that an update to Google Maps, which will be rolling out over the next few weeks, will bring gas prices to the maps as well as the ability to add detours to your route. With this, you'll be able to add extra stops on your journey, without having to reset your end destination each time.
HTC One A9 arrives on Sprint starting November 6
Sprint has announced that on November 6 customers will be able to pick up the newly-announced HTC One A9. Being the first US carrier to announce its support of the smartphone, Sprint is also offering to make two lease payments for those who purchase the One A9.

Verizon has released a new teaser video showing off an unannounced Droid smartphone. Odds are that we are looking at the Droid Turbo 2, as the video shows it falling to the pavement face-down. The Droid Turbo 2 is rumored to feature a shatterproof display, which would make sense to why Verizon would tease it the way they did.
HTC One A9 now available to pre-order from HTC.com
The new HTC One is now available to buy direct from the manufacturer's online store, with prices starting at $399.99.
As promised, HTC has opened up pre-orders of the new One A9 handset from its online store at HTC.com. Initially only the silver and grey versions of the phone are available, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, for $399.99 unlocked. The "deep garnet" (red) version will arrive in the U.S. in the near future.
