ASUS ZenFone 3 rumored for Computex unveil, VR headset inbound in Q4

It looks like ASUS will unveil the successor to the ZenFone 2 at this year's Computex, which will be held in the month of June. The Taiwanese manufacturer is also rumored to launch an augmented reality headset sometime in the fourth quarter of 2016.

What we do know about the upcoming ZenFone 3 is that it will feature USB Type-C connectivity, which was revealed by chairman Jonney Shih in an interview last year. The phone is also rumored to be the first from ASUS to offer fingerprint scanners. The ZenFone 2 was a resounding success for the vendor, so it will be interesting to see what ASUS has to offer this time around.

As for the virtual reality headset, ASUS is said to be working with a hardware partner to produce a HoloLens-style augmented reality viewer.
