Mx Player is one of the best and oldest music, video player I have ever used.
I have been using it since I had galaxy S in my hand. This is a very high rated player and can play your videos in background too, just listen the music. It has got material design in the latest update and can be used from gingerbread to lollipop 5.0.2. This is a really great media player. It supports network stream too which means you can add a video url to it and view the video. It also supports subtitles in various file formats. It can decode your video in S/W and H/W decoder. Its a great and elegant app with material design.
Note: For ARM type processor users you have to download a plugin so as to make it work.
Also the new logo is beautiful.
