In pictures: Three generations of LG flagships

While the flagship "G" series of LG smartphones technically kicked off back in 2012 with the Optimus G, it wasn't until the following year that the Korean company brought out the big guns. The G2 saw a rebranding of LG's flagship line, along design features which are familiar to this day — a giant display with slim bezels, rear-mounted buttons and KnockOn for waking the screen with a double-tap. That was followed in 2014 by the G3, which added a Quad HD display, re-vamped software and laser autofocus.
